The World's Best Dog

This is the world's best dog.

If you get a chance, think a good thought for him.

I've been thinking of Spanky since you told us of his breathing difficulties. What's happening now?

My comment went away, so you might end up with 2 from me --

what's happening with the poor guy now? We've been thinking of him since you told us about his breathing difficulties. Are the drugs not helping?

Give him a pat for me.

Oh now I see why it went away -- you have comment moderation enabled. Well, now you'll have a bunch of comments from me to moderate. Sorry. It's early.

Enabled now disabled.

Still having trouble. Spent last night at the vet and the thinking was cancer. Blood work came back today and doesn't show those indicators. So we don't know what's going on, I guess. Might know more after 9 a.m. when we get him and meet with the vet.

Thanks for your good thoughts!

What a good picture of Spanky. I'm hoping for the best for him and lots of good thoughts are coming his way

The vet showed us X-rays and ultrasounds, which he says show a mass somewhere around Spanky's liver and spleen. We'll get more test results back later today.

Bottom line, it's probably bad news, but Spanky is home and happy (have you ever seen him not happy?) and that's OK for now.

Home and happy is a good thing, and we'll keep the good thoughts going.

We are sending Spanky very good thoughts. So sorry to hear that the news wasn't good. He is a sweet doggie and we sure hope that you all are doing well.

Thanks for all the good thoughts. They seem to help: New results found no cancer in the liver. It may be swelling as a result of whatever's going on with his nose, which as of yet remains undiag-nosed. (Get it...?)

So, lots of money later, still little information, but at least all of what we have learned so far has been good.

Good news so far! I am a big fan of Spanky's! When we (being you, Diane and Dave) when on the run and I was a big loser and walked ... Spanky kept waiting back for me. He really wanted to be with you guys, but then he'd remember that I as back there and wait for me! Such a good pooch! That and he's a fireplace-whore like me! The good thoughts are coming strong his way! Hang in there guys!
