I thought of your ex the other day, when I found out my vet has 11 cats. I don't think he walks any of them.
Fortunately, all but one live outside. They have their own cat village evidently. He brought home the ones that got abandoned at the practice because otherwise they were going to be put down. He also has three dogs: 2 goldens and an English bulldog. That is way more information than anyone needed about my vet's pets.

I don't know, it certainly sounds like Sonnjea hit the sauce today! That is a very dog friendly place. And while the cat I had in high school would walk me to and from the pool, it was all on his own accord. I never had a leash on him! That's just strange!
